Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing industries providing numerous job opportunities.  Some of the topics of the course include: forensics, genetics, microbiology, and bioethics.  Students will actively participate in developing advanced laboratory skills and participate in projects in areas related to biology. Students may earn college credit and a scholarship to attend Sinclair Community College that may be used toward a 2-year degree with the option to transfer to a 4-year college.  Senior students complete capstone projects under the guidance of industry mentors and are eligible to bypass the health science wait list at Sinclair.   Students will also have the opportunity to participate in resume-building HOSA organization competitions.
