Automotives is a ASE Education Foundation-accredited automotive service technology program. Junior year is devoted to the study of automotive systems and the design characteristics of different manufacturers. Senior year students can specialize in the system of their choice. Successful seniors can be placed in part-time employment. Successful graduates can move directly into the Auto Technology program at Sinclair Community College or other universities and have the opportunity to complete a portion of their college program before Fairmont graduation. Students can earn an associate degree and enter the workforce in advanced positions.  Students may also participate in student professional competitions for SkillsUSA.

Program Goal: At least 80% of program graduates will enroll in post-secondary auto training or be employed in the field within 6 months of graduation.
